SONO Symposium
The SONO Symposium keeps hospice leaders on the edge of industry trends and best practices in a think tank formula. We've actively served more than 1,000 hospice leaders since 2012 with resulting impact on more than one million lives. We see a real opportunity for an even bigger impact in the near future - a new strategy to expand serving the hospice community.
SONO Emerging Leadership Conference
The Emerging Leadership Conference (ELC) is an invitation-only event designed for the next generation of leadership in the hospice industry. We aim to bring together future C-level executives and emerging management from hospice organizations across the country.
The ELC focuses on nurturing future leaders in the hospice sector. Each attendee, poised to ascend to C-level positions, brings a unique mix of attributes and budding accomplishments vital for shaping the future of hospice care.
At the ELC, our Think Tank format not only facilitates the transfer of critical information but also fosters lasting relationships among emerging hospice leaders and industry sponsors, culminating in impactful service within our field.
Creating Greater Equity Through Targeted Training
Research shows that historically underrepresented groups underutilize hospice and end-of-life care, largely because of cultural barriers such as misconceptions and fear. Because of this, these groups are also less likely to choose a career in the field. We believe there is an opportunity to change that dynamic by training leaders from within these populations.
Empowering comfort: End-of-Life tools
Many communities are not equipped to make decisions about end-of-life care and palliative care. We believe that by providing leaders with the conversation tools needed, we can bridge the gap and empower influencers, care givers, and families with the information they need to better utilize the end-of-life resources available to them.
We are developing customized videos, brochures, presentations, and digital assets that can be used by places of worship, medical professionals, and family members. These tools will be tailored to the intended audience and designed to educate and inform about hospice, palliative care, and end-of-life decisions.
